Suessical!!

Suessical!!

The Habitude Team was honored to be asked to do hair and make-up for our local Loyal Heights Elementarys’ production of Suessical the Musical. While this inspiring play was originally written for thirty actors, our production included one hundred and eighteen!

The team started weeks before prepping and cutting the blue thing wigs, sewing dreadlocks for the citizens and glueing and curling 75 neon extensions for the Whos. JoAnn, our make-up artist teamed with our good friend Kelly at Tangerine Tales to design and order the make-up and learn the fine art of face-painting, which they felt world capture the magical world of Suess better than traditional make-up.

Backstage with Jessica, Darcie Inez and a team of rookie moms- was quite and adventure with kids having to get prepped and wait in costume for hours without rolling around on the floor! 😉 The grand finale was last nights cast party when Habitude was recognized and awarded Jojo’s coveted bathbrush mounted as a trophy. It was also an honor that the gifts given to the Director and Producer were big bags from Habitude filled with products and a luxurious Spa Gift Card. As a company, giving back to our community is really important to us.

Bringing a little high fashion to a group of 5 and 6 year olds is right up our alley, and resonates with the words to Horton’s favorite song…”a person’s a person no matter how small”. Thank you Loyal Heights for supporting us all year long!
